    As with most venues that have "gardens" in the name, every inch of Maravilla Gardens was photogenic.  This was also on the first of July, so everything was in full bloom.  I didn't realize until I watched the preview again, but you can actually see the heat waves distorting the Maravilla Gardens sign.  Luckily there was plenty of shade.  Of course, nobody likes to work in the heat, but I don't mind breaking a sweat as long as I don't get sunburned.  After all, I have to stay in shape somehow!

       It was a long drive up to the venue, but I look forward to shooting there again.  It's one of those places where you literally can't capture the whole property in a single event without some extended shooting time, or multiple outings with the newlyweds.  I tend to think that you should enjoy yourself as much as possible and don't worry about a thing.  Even if things don't go to plan, just enjoy yourself and it will come across in the photos and video.  No matter how beautiful a venue it, always remember that it's the people that make the wedding, and ultimately the images.

  

     If you notice toward the end of the preview, you will see a tree with tags hanging from it.  My wife and I did something similar for our wedding, although not quite as fancy.  The idea is, instead of a traditional guest book, people can hang their messages from the branches of the tree.  I think it's a fun idea, and at the end of the wedding you can arrange them however you like.
